About me
I walk through streets and collect fragments of their stories — I’m Simon, a German-based photographer drawn to the shifting character of the city. From cross-genre experiments to fleeting moments of street life, this is how I see and respond to what unfolds around me.
A shot’s there to tell a story, maybe it’s blurred or overexposed. That’s the streets for you — imperfect and alive.
What sparks me
I’ve explored a range of genres — from astrophotography to wildlife, nature, and sports — yet street photography has remained the most compelling focus. I’m still open to different photographic projects, especially those that bring new challenges and push my way of seeing further.
What gets me into
What interests me most are unique, unrepeatable moments. In street photography, nothing repeats itself in quite the same way. You either catch it, or it’s gone. It’s about being present, responding instinctively, and knowing when to press the shutter. For me, it’s less about equipment and more about attention — to light, to timing, to atmosphere. In the end, it’s the image that matters, regardless of what it was taken with.
